[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sister bought the LG French Door 30 cu ft refrigerator, and the ice maker, dispenser was so quiet compared to our 3 year old samsung French door refrigerator, and we bought the LG when we built our current home moving back to North East Ohio for family. It met all our expectations and I would rate it slightly above the Samsung we had. Nice engineering from an Electrical Engineer.

Pros: spacious (fits food for family of 7)

door-in-door handy (I store my creamer, 2 types of milk, 2 types of butter)
Water on fridge is cold and high flow so it doesn't take long to fill a glass. I also like the height of water it's a little higher than standard and little kids aren't making a mess.
Cons: it's huge and had to take the doors and drawer off in order to fit it through our front standard size door. Dismantling it and then putting it back together took an entire evening. If I'd known or thought about it I would have paid the extra dough for installation.
The fridge is at a slight backward tilt so the doors kinda slam shut. We've tried to figure out if this can be fixed but havent found a solution yet.
The ice box is smaller than our old one but completely keeps up with our family. The only time we run out of fresh ice is when we are entertaining guests.
Stainless is not smudge proof

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 74 years old and have had many different refrigerators over the years. This LG beats them all not only in ease of access to food items both in the refrigerator and freezer but in economical functioning as well. The door providing direct access to diary and other products without having to access the main compartment is a bonus, likewise large, easy to read function display on the door. I wish I had purchased it earlier.

Problems with ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this fridge for just over a year and are already having issues with the ice maker. It produces plenty of ice, but the ice in the bucket freezes together in 1 big chunk and jams up the dispenser. The bucket then has to be taken out and run under hot water until all of the ice can be removed. Water also freezes around the bucket which you have to chip away just to get the bucket out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
