LG the good and the bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well we purchased this when we bought our first home, liking the LG brand. The refrigerator is a great looking product and has a lot of good space and features. It has been problem free until recently. LG had sent someone out to repair it, looks like it needed a compressor. I was really pleased, they got it up and running in no time,but I was more pleased that it didn't cost me anything out of pocket, nice huh. So all n all it's been a great refrigerator and happy to say that I would recomend the LG product line to anyone. I would say two thumbs up.

Nice fridge that stopped cooling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge itself is nice, the door in door feature is convenient. Unfortunately it stopped cooling after only 2-3 years of ownership. Similar models manufactured just before ours were the subject of a class action lawsuit for similar failures. Luckily for us, LG honored the warranty and replaced the compressor at their cost.

Bought several LG appliances 3 years ago. so far this has had the least amount of problems.
one night the water dispenser came on and flooded the kitchen-and no one was in the kitchen-it's not like it got stuck after someone used it. Had a mind of it's own

Many issues with our refrigerator.

The ice and water taste bad, even with a brand new filter. The doors started to peel and needed to be replaced. The only upside is the manufacturer’s warranty paid for the compressor, seals and door replacement.
