Great features, poor quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have absolutely loved our LG refridgerator for the last 4 years! The black stainless steel finish compliments our remodeled kitchen colors. The french door design of the fridge makes getting food out a breeze and the lower drawer for a freezer is easy to access. We bought the fridge 4 years ago, and the compressor just gave out and had to be replaced. We are really disappointed in the quality of this LG product, especially since we lost close to $300 worth of food. The warranty repair work was done quickly and the fridge is back up and running, but we are fearful of another failure in a few years, as the replacement compressor is the same model that failed. We may not buy another LG kitchen product, as our experience has not been good and the reviews of the refrigerators online seems to indicate that they are not quality built and do not last. I have had products from other manufacturers last 10-15-20 years with no problems. Too bad your great design does not have the quality behind it.
