Great features but repaired twice in 2/3 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in 2016 , stopped keeping food cold 2 years later replaced compressor now about 2 years later same thing we have 8 children and been without a fridge for 2 weeks waiting on repair lost all our food .

Not What I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator over two years ago. The compressor motor went out out it recently. Water is leaking around the ice maker. My refrigerator that it replaced, I had for 17 years with no problems. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Cools and works great, but....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator cooled great and worked well until a little after 3 years. Also, the Wifi capability worked only for a little while but stopped before 1 year was up. The manufacturer's warranty thankfully covered the repair of the fridge when it stopped cooling. Customer service was great and worked everything out with my husband. Customer service is the reason there are 4 stars instead of 2 or 3. I do hope this repair helps the fridge to work at least 7 more years.

Love - hate relationship with this refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Negatives: Hate the stainless steel....very hard to keep shiny and clean and the inside door DOES NOT STAY CLOSED!! I have had to tape it shut! Practically impossible to find someone to service in my area...I live in Southern New Jersey so not some far our place!
Positive: I LOVE the door in door feature and the overall refrigerator keeps my food cold and frozen...the freezer drawer took a little getting used to but very spacious and the 2 drawers there is GREAT!
Pros: Performance

I am still giving 4 stars since we bought the extended service contract so the repair did not cost us anything and the lost food was covered with the extended warranty. We like the sliding glass to allow for taller items when needed. We also like the alerts given to replace our filters to help ensure clean water and ice.

I really like the adjustable split shelves that provide a lot more configurability. The French door configuration keeps cold air in the freezer when opened. Ice maker side is just enough. This one has all of the features I loved in my old refrigerator, and added craft ice cubes. The door-in-door feature is wonderful with kids in the house, as well as the true fingerprint resistant finish. The re-styled drawers in both refrigerator and freezer sections add increased space. It is very quiet. Internet access with warnings routed to a phone app add comfort that I’ll always know if there are any problems.
