It's Just OK

You really have to watch when cooking on electric. Things can burn easily as it heats fast on a glass cook top. We have small little bubble looking marks under the glass and it's only 3 months old. Don't know if it's normal or defective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had our new GE cooktop for a few months now. It is so easy to use and I find that it has even heat. One of my favorite features is the locking of all burners so they can not be turned on accidentally.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have only had the cooktop hooked up for 4 days but it seems to be a good product. My wife likes it and that is what matters.

Power boil is unbelievably fast!

Learning to use a new cook top

I like my new cook top. The burners work very well and it's great having burners that accommodate different sized pans. The locking mechanism is essential; otherwise it would be so easy to accidentally turn on the stove. The burners get hot very quickly and I'm learning how to adjust for the temperature I need.
However I have to look very closely (almost with my nose to the stove top) to find the on/off switches for the burner I want. They simply are not bright enough for me to see easily. My last cook top was mottled gray and black in color and didn't show smudges like this one does.

Love the smooth top!

I really like the smooth top, so easy to clean, there is a lock on it so I can lock it if I
want to sit something on the stove top and be sure that it does not turn on, very nice feature!

I bought my range, but I never could really see the letters or where the pots and pans go. There's no light and the letters are faded like. Did my range get installed correctly?
