This counter top stove is very good,it really heats and cooks good. I can cook noodles very quick. The glass is nice, but you have to keep it clean and stay on it.

Replaced an 80's model coil-burner cooktop with this beautiful smooth glass model from GE and could not be more pleased. Installation was fairly simple thanks to well written instructions. We were cooking dinner a few hours later.
Controls are intuitive and give me the precise handling I need for some of my more delicate cooking tasks. But, set the burner to High and water is boiling before you know it: even on the smaller, lower wattage burners. Very impressive.
Love being able to 'lock out' the cooktop to prevent accidental activation. And, tying the two mid-sized burners together allows me to cook in my largest pots and pans.
Cleanup is a breeze and it shines like a new penny.
My only caveat is I wish I had room in my cabinet for the 36 inch model.
Highly recommend this one for kitchens tight on space but with high expectations.

New age to our countertop
