This cooktop is replacing an older verrsion. We especially chose this cooktop for its features: smooth service with no knobs to clean around and variety of burner sizes and features. We purchased this from the website and were very pleased with the amount of information available to make sure we had the correct size for the existing opening in the island.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Recently purchased and installed by a local appliance store - this model was chosen because we were replacing a broken cooktop. The JP5030 fit in the existing space and was replacing an older GE model which had older style knobs. Getting use to the touch controls. Limited use thus far, but seems to work well without apparent manufacturing defects. Stays clean using glass cooktop cleaner 1-2 times per week. If this model proves to be reliable, I would say it is a good buy for the money

Excellent Operation and Great Features

We have had this cooktop 1 month and are extremely happy with it. The burners heat up almost instantaneously. A definite improvement from replacing our 30-year-old GE electric cooktop! We like the controls and especially appreciate the lock feature so we know the cooktop is off when we leave the kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great stovetop

We replaced a previous GE top and the fit was perfect!!!! The previous top had touch controls on the right side which was wonderful! I do not like the controls at the front. I can’t put a pan there without the musical tones. Otherwise it is wonderful! The new top replaced the one I had for almost 20 years.

large burner not working
