The cooktop took a while to be delivered but once It did the instructions were straightforward and it was easy to install

Great quality , looks amazing and easy to use. The only thing that I don’t like is that it only has one large eye and with a family of NINE, I use BIG pots and pans. It would be nice to have at least Two large eyes.

We've been without a cooktop for over a year and it took a while to decide on this one, but we picked the right one! Love the electronic controls with no knobs. Cooks evenly and heats up quickly!

Dont buy!!!

Not only this cooktop gets scratched very easiely, the downdraft hood we bought was DOA. GE ame out 2 weeks later to diagnose the problem, ordered parts that came in 2 weeks later and then cancelled by installation appointment. Now we are owners of a scratchy cooktop, non functioning downdraft and waiting for GE GODS to show some mercy.....stay away
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're terribly sorry to know that your cooktop has been scratched and that your vent is not working. We can certainly understand your frustration and would like to share some tips for dealing with scratches.
To keep your appliance looking new and provide protection for the exterior paint finish, we recommend that you apply a coat of appliance polish wax when the appliance is new, and then at least twice a year.
You may use appliance wax for light scratches that occur, but larger scratches will need to be repaired with appliance touch up paint. Touch up paint is available through our parts department. You can order parts by calling 1-877-959-8688 Mon-Fri 8am to 8pm, Sat 8:30am-5pm ET or by visiting https://www.geappliances.com/ge/parts/.
We do see that you have a upcoming appointment for your hood and know the tech will be able to fix the problem. Stay well! Mike@GEA

Sleek design

Easy to install, looks nice. I like the combination of coil sizes. The only thing different I would do is to put the controls along the one side. Where they are, it is very easy to hit the buttons when you don’t mean too.

The controls on the bottom of the cooktop make it too easy to turn on the burner bky just placing something on it.
