Heats quickly, hard to clean.

Love this Stovetop

This is so much better in my house because it is clean. Thank goodness I got to be rid of my old 1964 model. It heats up good and stays hot. Boils quickly. Easy installation.

I had a cooktop before. It works great, and is SO easy to clean. No more food dropping between the appliance and counters that can't be reached. My only issue is that there is a very small "k" on the upper left corner that I keep thinking is a dirty spot.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GREAT FEATURES, SIMPLE CLEAN APPEARANCE,

This is the second GE counter top range we have owned. The first one still worked, but the corner got a chip in it from a bottle dropping out of a cabinet and then the corner broke, because I tried to get under the glass to clean. We also did not have all the correct flat pans (so they would rattle) and we did shake the pan across the glass, which caused the glass to scratch. I had the black range with the flecks of bisque, but this time I just got the plain shiny black. It does show more finger prints and smudges....but I love the way it looks. We will be more careful not to shake pans across the glass...and I got rid of the warped pans and the pans that didn't sit flat. When we installed the range, I put down a bead of black chalk on the counter top, under the perimeter edges of the glass top, so that crumbs and spills can't get under the edges. The glass range top I had before didn't have anything between the glass and the counter and crumbs and debris were visably stuck under the glass...but hard to remove. That how the corner of the glass got broken. If for some reason the caulk doesn't work...we will use the black cushioning, that came with the range, around the entire perimeter of the glass.
