Cooktop with bad burner

Looks nice but had problem with one of the burners from the start. After only a few month it quit working entirely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The cooktop is classic GE goodness! Easy to use, easy to maintain and clean! Am a lifelong GE customer and rarely deviate. When it comes to large appliances nothing works like GE!

Elements are nicely spaced out on the cooktop and each element is labeled as to what it's specialty is. Of course, you can't go wrong with GE!

Sleek Looking Stove Top

Loved the look of the product and so far it works well. Biggest negative is the lack of quality in the surface coating. After 2 days of cooking, our main burner is scraped so much it looks like we have had it for years. No amount of wiping will return it to its original clean look. Very disappointing for a new appliance. Clearly it is a defect in product quality since many customers have had the same experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The cook top works great ......My comment is about the size , it is to small 30" I have had 3 others with no problem .....and a 36 " would be to big ....they should have something to extend the cook top ......not happy about this ...TO SMALL

I Love this White Glass Cooktop so much!

I absolutely LOVE this WHITE cooktop! Prior to purchasing many people stated that the surface was horrible to clean and that after every cooking episode it discolored. Well it does and so does a black cooktop surface you just can't see it on the black, but it is most certainly there! I like the fact that I can see the easily removable stains after cooking and I can keep my cooktop sparkly white and clean...something that I didn't do with my black glass top because I couldn't see how yucky it really was. Yes, you do need to clean it after every use, but I don't mind doing that, one bit. I LOVE this cooktop so much! The quick boil is awesome!
