This cook top works well. We like how the burners work. They are very precisely adjustable. The glass top is softer than others we have had and scratch easier.

Nice Cooktop

This stovetop has some nice features like the Power Boil which heats things up more quickly. I also like the safety features which prevent you from leaving a burner on inadvertently. Though I no longer have small children in the house, I do have a cat that likes walking on the countertops.
Having the dials raised a bit above the surface of the stovetop makes for easier cleaning.
What I did not realize is that this type of stovetop surface is so very fragile. I had to retire my.cast iron pan and replace it with another type of skillet that won’t leave scratches. And I highly recommend buying the suggested stovetop cleaner immediately! It cleans really well without scratching and is the safest way to do any surface cleaning.

I have multiple GE appliances in my home for many years without any issues. I add this GE cooktop. Cook easy.heat very fast, easy clean, so far working well. and price is right.

This cooktop looks great. We hope it lasts longer than the last one we had from another company. Haven’t used long enough to comment on how well it lasts. So far cooks well.
