Hasn’t been used much. But it works. I like knobs to the side because I cook sitting down. Not used to plastic knobs. But my last one broke because of metal heavy knobs. Takes some time to clean it. Likes to leave smudge marks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Burner does not turn off

We have had 2 appointments with a maintenance company to resolve this. So far, our biggest and strongest burner (bottom right hand side) continues to stay very hot and heat EVEN when the knob is TURNED OFF.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful GE cooktop. My old one lasted 16 years! Yes, a little extra time needed to keep it clean. It is a quality stove which fits & looks great in my kitchen. Buy it, you’ll like it.

I like this cooktop, was also included with our home purchase, they have to replace it because the careless person that installed made a mayor scratch on it, that is the only thing I don’t like scratches easily

Cooktop works well. Very hard to clean. Nothing to do with the actual product installation was never anchored the cooktop to the counter. No seal under the glass to the counter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Order JXTR32B (black) to reduce the cutout opening from the installation of this cooktop. This kit may be ordered from your dealer or directly from GE Appliances at www.geappliances.com

Layout is a bit odd but the stove looks nice

The right front burner (used the most) is back kind of far and the burner behind it is too close to the other burners. If you have larger pans on most, that back right will not sit on the element well. And the burners are really hot even on the lowest settings. The stove looks nice and cleans up well.
