This GE cooktop as two large power boil eyes that heat food very fast. This was also rated excellent in a national consumer magazine that we relay on to buy products. We would highly recommend.

Nice clean simple look

i feel it was a little more expensive than other stove tops that had similar looks and features. I normally purchase GE products. The stove tops we replaced was a GE so the fit was better.

Big Disappointment

I bought this cooktop to replace an 18 year old GE cooktop. Price was great, installation easy. Within two weeks cooking every couple of days, the two rear burners quit working. They won’t come on at all. The front two are working but seem to cook way too quickly! Setting the burner to level one still resulted in my rice boiling over. Not sure if this whole unit is defective or what. Awaiting repair as it is under manufacturer warranty. I have always trusted GE brand appliances so this is a major disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
