Bought new but switches are bad

I just bought this cook top and it does; not work. Warranty service said the switches are bad all four so They are ordering more. Shouldn’t 8 just get a new replacement cook top
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only reason why I did not give it a five, is because the knobs are kind of tight and you have to kind of guide it to make sure that it cuts off. Otherwise I would have gave it a five.

The plastic knobs are, well plastic.
There was not enough foam tape for all 4 sides. I put it on the front and back. Foam tape directiobs were vauge.
Replace a perfectly good GE stovetop ONLY because the lettering rubbed off!

Easy install as a replacement. No complaints. Old one wasn’t working well so anything is improvement. New one is fast and hot. Got to pay better attention. Takes a little getting used to. Looks great. Hope it continues to look nice and not scratch.

No Surprises

Great product ... got exactly what I expected with no surprises. Two elements on my original 23-year-old GE cooktop went out, so I replaced it as close to like-for-like that GE offered. Clear instructions & easy to install with no need for any kind of modifications; two screws to remove the old unit, two screws to install the new unit. Electrical wiring hadn't changed over the years, either; red to red, black to black, ground to ground. Couldn't have been much simpler.

Good Looking Cooktop!
