Looks great and practical

Really elegant looking with knobs on side which makes it easy to clean. Have to be always mindful not to drag pots to avoid scratching the surface- so far so good! I’ve been cleaning it with the microfiber cloth dipped in dish soap and no sponges and then drying with a microfiber cloth as well. It’s only been 1 month so it been doable.

Pots too small/big

There are two small burners and two large. There needs to be an in between size. My old GE had a burner to accommodate a medium size and then a larger size. Was perfect.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great quality and reliability for the money

We replaced a GE Profile (bisque) with the black cook top…keeping our bisque corian countertop. While a major (white to black) color change, we’re glad we chose the stainless (upgrade) trim and knobs version….as it really makes the cook top and our kitchen look more contemporary. More importantly the cook top dimensions required NO alterations to the opening…just as GE’s literature assured. VERY satisfied with the look, finish and performance.

Had to replace our original cooktop and decided on this GE model. It's not only beautiful, it just performs flawlessly. Simply love the pot boil feature. I highly recommend this cooktop for anyone looking for elegant looks and great performance at a budget that won't break the bank!

Replaced an older cooktop

We love the way the black cooktop blends in with the black granite countertop. It is very easy to clean of those inevitable spills and keeps its looks. We like the ability to quick boil. It took a little time to get used to the way the "eyes" go on and off to maintain the proper temperature since that was not a feature of our previous cooktop. By the way, we installed it ourselves as the instructions were simple and to the point.
