Love it except for one burner. Turned down low but water still boils. Have to move to a different burner.

This cooktop is very basic and seems to run a little hot compared to old one. Glass burners are hard to keep clean. Not overly thrilled with product. Probably should have gone to an upgraded style. Thought I was getting exactly what I had, but the features are less than my old one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This cooktop replaced a GE cooktop that provided more than 20 years of reliable service. Hope this one lasts as long.
Was concerned about the opening size required because it was slightly larger than what I laid out for the original cooktop, but it slid right in.

Hard to keep clean

Works great but oh my god, keeping this SS cooktop is going to drive me nuts!! Slightest boil over or grease splatter looks disastrous. Especially under the lights of the Ganges hood.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

With that being said, we're sorry to hear that the cooktop is driving you crazy, we understand as homeowners ourselves the frustration this causes, and we truly apologize.
Before using the glass cooktop for the first time, we recommend cleaning it with an approved cooktop cleaner like Weiman's or CeramaBryte Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner. This helps protect the cooktop and makes cleanup easier. Daily use of this cleaner will also help keep the cooktop looking new. Other cleaning creams may not be as effective. Use of sponges or cleaners other than those recommended can result in damage to the cooktop.
Normal Daily Use Cleaning:
If using the cream version of CeramaBryte® Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner (WX10X300), shake the cleaning cream well and apply a few drops directly to the cooktop. If using the spray version of CeramaBryte® Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner (WX10X391), spray a small amount on the cooking surface.
Use a paper towel or CeramaBryte® Cleaning Pad (WX10X350) to clean the entire cooktop surface.
Use a dry cloth or paper towel to remove all cleaning residue. There is no need to rinse; however, it is important that you do not heat the cooktop until the cream has been cleaned off.
