The front hot boil burner broke after a year. Cant even get it fix bc it costs much more than the actual price. Do not buy

Glass cracked 1st use

Turned on burner, it got hot then section near control knob pop with a loud crack, not covered because it looks like somthing dropped on it.

GE Cooktop Burner Disappointment

From the beginning, I found flaws in my GE cooktop. The surface was extremely sensitive to most spills resulting in permanent discolorations. Even with special GE cleaning kits, I could not remove stains. Now, the entire right size fails to work at all. There is a recall I missed until now. Overall, I feel like this model is defective.

Issues with the controls.

The first cooktop worked very well until a pan slipped and made a small crack. Replaced it a month ago with the same exact model and one of the burners does
NOT turn off. It’s a whole project to get a cooktop purchased and installed so I’m not happy it came out of the box needing a repair. Disappointed.

Lifespan just 3.5 years!

The electric stove was broken after just 3.5 years of use!!!!!!!!! The repair from GE estimate was the same price as a brand new, so I decided to buy a new electric stove.

Poor durabiltiy - died and took outcircuit breaker

Died after 2-3 years. Poor durability. It started making popping noises. Eventually, it died and blew out my circuit breaker too.
