This cooktop is light weight... and visually appealing... wish the control knobs were metal and not plastic, but visually matches nicely with stainless steel.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Newer cooktop looks great, though I am still getting used to the settings. Older model was a GE still working after 22 yrs, so went back to a great brand.

I bought this in Dec and was installed 12/17, it is wonderful. Works so much better that my original even though it was 17 years old still was working just needed to upgrade.

Fo the most part am pleased with the cook top however a few improvements could be made. The entirely black surface, knobs and less than clear numbers make it difficult to know what level of heating is being utilized. Some white marking or pointers would help.

Sleak look for our 1990's kitchen

The old GE coil cooktop was from 1995, it worked fine but we needed (and I wanted) something more modern. This fit in our current cook top space with little counter top modifications. My husband had in installed in about an hour. I only gave it four stars because we have only been using it a day, but in that one day of use it has been great. The heating elements warm up very fast.
My husband gave this to me for a Christmas gift due to the other great reviews it had online; and yes I did ask for a new cooktop for a gift.
