nice unit except

I bought this unit to replace a jennair that my wife was not to happy with. I made the assumption that "all" 30 inch cooktops were the same size. I have granite for a counter top and the jennair fit perfectly. This model is at least is 1/4 inch narrower. Took me a couple of days to fabricate a couple of pieces of metal and glue it to thetop. A 1-2 hour job took most of a day. Not happy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the second one I bought because the old one got short circuit and broke. I buy this one because the cut-out was the same as old one.
