looks smart, required modification to the well so it would fit, takes a fairly long time to heat up the burners, cooktop surface needs contstant cleaning

This unit heats up well and cooks everything wonderfully. It is easy to keep clean using the recommended cleaner. We love it!

Looks great, but knob icons are hard to read

Very happy with this cooktop. My only compliant is the knob icons are too small, not logically ordered, the icons are not clear enough. I have to check every time I adjust that I am adjusting the right an element if I am using multiple saucepans.

Love the look of the black top

This is my second GE cooktop. The other one lasted 17 years. That's why I bought another one! I love polishing it every night. Crazy Huh.

Works really well nice looking. It's easy to clean in the fact that it's flat but you need to polish it with ceramic cleaner after every use to make it look good other cleaning products will just leave streaks.

Easy to Keep lean

Somewhat disapointed with the cooktop. Have owned and used other GE ceramic/glass cooktops for the past 20 years and have always found them a hot product. Unfortunately this model is lacking in heating abilty and cooking surface area. No burner bridge between burners is sadly missed although we knen that in buying this model. It is a good product but not a gret one. Will probably upgrsde in a few years to a more feature model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
