Too sensitive a surface

The surface needs to be cleaned and polished almost every time it is used. I am using a brand new stainless steel flat bottom cookware that I bought specifically for the unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best cooktop for money can offer

Easy to install, Sure FIT works. I was replacing 20 year old 30'' cooktop and it was single person job with no additional help. I am not an electrician and it was easier than replacing lights on the ceiling

I am in no way, at all, surprised at the quality of this cooktop. It looks great, works great and is super easy to clean. It is as awesome as I expected a GE product to be.
