Bare bones model

We purchased to replace a GE model that had been in for 15 years and was a more deluxe model. Since our cabinet tops are granite, we were locked in to GE in order to match the size and not cut granite. This is a stripped down model does not have burners that can be adjusted for the size of the pan as my old one did, don't like the raised knobs, slow to heat up, seems to heat up about the time you are done cooking! It's ok as a basic stove, but if you are really a cook, go for an upgrade.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased the cook top as a replacement to one similar. The installation was as easy as they said it would be.
We have used the cook top for about a month now and are even more pleased that we thought. Heats up super quick and then maintains a temperature well.
We are used to an electric cook top so there wasn't a transition for us.

I love the power boil option, I never had this before.
This cooktop seems to clean up better then other brands I have had in the past.

Bought this a few days ago. This gets hots much faster than our old Amana cooktop. GE has so many options - we were considering the induction and radiant, and eventually decided on radiant to be backwards compatible with our utensils. The silver trim matches our other GE appliances!
