This is a whole lot better storage disc, double the size, 8.5 GB of regular DVD, 4.3 GB only. It's good if you are into creating a big data file storage.

Best Dual Layers on the Market

The dye that Verbatim uses in most of their blank media is of much higher quality than some of the other brands on the market. The new Memorex dual layers produce many more errors compared to the Verbatim products. I download Xbox360 backups and burn them to dual layers via my Toshiba notebook and have nothing but success with the Verbatim media.
What's great about it: Great for burning Xbox360 Backups
What's not so great: Usually not on sale.

While these discs are MII, they are lower quality than those MIS. It is still possible to backup all data without any problems. Not even one problem burning data. Recommend using ImgBurn(free app) to burn all data. Highly configurable, and it's 100% free. The program seems to like these discs over others I have tried. Tip: burn at slower speeds (2x, 2.4x). It may take a little longer, but there is a 99% chance of no errors and the disc will be read much easier when using across different platforms and disc drives.
What's great about it: Best choice for (legal)backups of 360 games.
What's not so great: MII not MIS

The Verbatim DL DVD+R is the best DL solution for your storage needs. I have never had a bad burn or disk CRC errors or any problems with Verbatim DL discs. Enough said.
What's great about it: no bad burns, on sale so good price
What's not so great: nothing

The price should be lowered because they are a little too expensive. OR I wish that they were on sale more often. Other than that, the blank DVD's are outstanding.
What's great about it: every DVD burns perfectly and I didn't have to throw any of them away.
What's not so great: nothing. They are great.

I use these discs to backup a certain kind of DL-DVD discs and they work the best out of all the discs I have used. I haven't used very many different brands but the one I had tried before didn't work. I did some research on forums and everyone said that these are the best for my BackUp needs.
If you just want to back up some data from your pc I would think that the cheaper discs would work. I only use these discs because I have to for what I am doing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The best DL DVD I have used so far. Wish they would make a spindle with 50 dvd's. The most reliable Dual Layer dics on the market

I bought these dvd+r dl thinking that these were a great brand that were on sale. I had burn failures due to a setting of 6x. It was partly my fault that I did not look at the disks closely. I buy this brand all the time, the 6x version. Thie packaging looks the same, the disk look the same, very confusing. Best buy did exchange the disks after I told them what happened. They are advertising these disks as 6x they are not. They are 2.4 times max.
What's great about it: Reliable, quality
What's not so great: Advertised as 6x when it is not
I would recommend this to a friend!
