AWESOME REFRIGERATOR - IMPRESSIVE TECHNOLOGY AND STYLE!!!

Samsung nails it on the latest lines of metal cooling, French door/bottom freezer refrigerators. This was a a package deal with stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The promotion was irresistible, and I am so happy we jumped on the opportunity and best pricing we had seen for over a year. We've been seriously looking at this and similar lines, but always came back to the Samsung line.
It's a beauty, and now we will remodel around the new Samsung appliances. Counter depth made this a perfect fit in our early 60's built home. Impressive combination of technology and style.
The multi-zonal humidity controls and temperature ranges makes this a great means to organize and store all deli, produce, dairy, and various snacks - with plenty of room for everything.
The only thing I would change would be the plastic door bin material/designs. One original bin (with movable stabilizer bar) was broken at the point of contact/pin. It was quickly replaced, but it seems the mechanism could be better designed, or the material used might need to be improved.
Pros: Bright display, smart wifi, alarms, interior lighting, multi-zonal controls
Cons: lightweight door bins/feel very fragile

It will take some trial and error to get the most efficient use of the space in this refrigerator. Lots of shelf options and small spaces for little items. Best features are the outside control panel/water/ice dispenser and door within a door.

First one ordered was delivered damaged, Samsung Customer Service took care of it right away and sent out a new one, while leaving the damaged unit as a loaner. I like all the features of this model and the looks are attractive. The easy access door is very nice to have. Only one drawback and that's ice maker capacity is pretty small, versus the dual ice-maker I had on a competitor's product previously.
Over-all happy with the performance of this product and would buy again.

This unit is very handsome and compliments our kitchen excellently. It is a very quiet unit. With the freezer on the bottom it is much more comfortable getting food from the refrigerator section, not having to bow down. With the glass shelves and various lights, it is easy to see everything in it. with the special door we can get condiments without opening the full doors. We are enjoying it very much.

Nice ref. and spacious freezer looks good too. Just bought it so I don't know if it will be as good as my old one that lasted me 25yrs, ( Amana). Time will tell.

Samsung Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator with door-in-doors feature

Had it two days and it is absolutely gorgeous! This is a well designed 'fridge, and counter depth makes it look like a built in. The only negative so far is that the icemaker is weak. I am hoping that the icemaker will be better as it fills up over the next couple of days. However, I knew going in that the icemaker in this model did not get great reviews. That having been said, I review products extensively before I buy them, and this was by far the best counter depth french door refrigerator I found. I have come to rely on Samsung products, and am very satisfied with my purchase. I would definitely recommend it!

Great counter-depth fridge that holds a lot

This fridge was easy to set up ( automatically chills down within 2 hours without having to do anything other than plugging it in) and allows one to see the food easily. I recycled my old side-by-side standard fridge that stuck out and this Samsung counter-depth seems to hold about as much without letting items get buried into the back of the fridge all while helping to make my kitchen look more spacious. It is easier to get wide items like frozen pizza into the freezer with this type. I like that the paddle one pushes for ice is stainless. The ice maker on this model may not make enough ice if one entertains or has a large family but i think it will be sufficient for me. The exterior stainless steel finish looks best if one uses tap water on a micro fiber cloth. So far, so good.

I really like the space that this refrigerator affords, and the preview door is really a nice feature. You just need to get used to where to grab the handle :)
One of the problems in the design is that the vegetable drawer does not open fully unless the carrier is removed off of the side door. This is frustrating when I need to reach in to retrieve items that are in the back of the drawer.
