GE washer and dryer single unit

I bought this unit three months ago and have been unable to use the washing machine for two months. Four repair people have been here and now I am waiting for the four replacement part.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just What We Were Looking For

We remodeled the master bath in our 20 year old double wide home. We had decided to put our washer and dryer in the new bath and the stack units would not work for us because the dryer controls were at the top. We had looked at some unitized units, but were skeptical. We have relative who lives in an assisted living apartment complex and she has one of these units from GE and has had it for many years. She likes it and so we decieded to look closer. This unit was the largest available in our local store and we purchased it and installed it ourselves. We have a clothes hamper that is made up of three bags to separate the clothes and one bag will just fill the tub . It has been installed for over a month now and we have no complaints. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, wash and dry our clothes.
I would recommend this to a friend!
