After reviewing many makes and models, this system fit the space and available power source, and also had the features and price we needed.

The washer and dryer combination work perfect for the application. We wash a lot of work clothes and bulky items. The washer and dryer are so roomy that there's no more splitting loads which saves time and energy!

Replaced a 12 year old unit... Very pleased with how much less noise and how smooth this GE works. An Excellent space saver, yet large enough to handle every day life.

Some things should be changed!!

For all of you complaining about greasy stains, did you read the manual? I had the same problem until I found out you have dilute your fabric softener and always use the Burst Rinse when using fabric softener. I am disappointed that there is no chime or buzzer to let you know when the cloths are done. I also do not like that the knob doesnt return to the off position when the washer is done.
