Compact for small spaces w/ reasonalbe capacity

I purchased this unit less then two weeks ago primarily for it size as it had to fit in a closet slight deeper then the machine and the machine offered side venting, which was done under the lip of the dryer and ran up the side of the machine. It works but not easy of the eye.
The washer is noisy during wash cycle but not unreasonable loud for this type of (top loader) unit and the spin cycle is also reasonable for a noise level.
The dry seems to dries ever day clothes in 30 minutes but items like towels do take closer to 40 minutes.
I installed the unit on second floor and it was a bear getting it up a straight staircase, I would not suggest this unit or any laundry center if you have narrow or winding stairs.
Clothes are getting clear and dry as expected for a new machine.
I have not had long term success with GE (stackable washer and dryer) appliances and GE no longer makes a stackable washer and dryer with a washer capacity over 3CF that would have fit into my closet space but since this unit was new (1st manufactured in March 2015) I am hoping for good luck with this but I did but the extended warranty to protect myself from expensive repairs.

Nice Fit and Clean Look

I bought this after my first set broke down after about ten years. My laundry closet is super tiny and I was worried about size but this actually gives me storage room on either side of the closet and all my heavy and large sheets and blankets still fit easily! Love the delicate settings - clothes looking much better and the automatic sensor on the dryer is a godsend !

Just installed this washer/dryer combo last night. MUCH quieter than the 32 year old unit it replaced. Uses much less water. Spins like a nuclear fuel centrifuge so nearly all the water is expelled before the clothes go in the dryer. Larger dryer drum handles towels, jeans and bedding with ease. I'm going to be saving some money with this unit. Quite a few setting on the washer as well as the dryer to choose from. Easy access of the controls (not touch pad!) This GE machine seems to be just the ticket.

Bought this to fit inside a closet inside my bathroom, it fits perfectly, and works really well! I have never used stackable washer/dryers before and I am pleasantly surprised!

Great Machine!

We are a small veterinary clinic. Due to limited space, we need a stackable washer/dryer. We ordered another unit prior to this one that we were very unhappy with, it had no indicator to let us know where the load was in the wash cycle, we had to dry towels two and three times, and it was incredibly noisy! We returned it in exchange for this one. We are so happy we did! This unit is quieter, plus it has many of the features we are used to!

Efficient, silent great overall. Only things that I can see that can be modified is the noise when the motor is going through the different cycles.
