Looks not everything!

Bought year ago. Started using last August. Had to have repair of dryer part in Oct. still with same complaint, now takes 4 times as long to dry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Washer doesn’t work well

Washer tub springs are very loose. Slightest imbalance in clothes causes the machine to vibrate and “walk” across floor. Tank movement has dented front metal casing panel out. Washer very noisy on rinse cycle. Pump growns when it starts and is very loud. This is the 4th stackable unit I have owned and I have never...never experienced this before. Wish I could give it back.
Dryer works fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome washer and dryer set!

The washer is a bit loud. Since I live in an apartment, my washer/dryer unit is in my kitchen so it's a bit annoying hearing both units on at the same time. Other than that, great product!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not a year old and multiple repairs needed

Our contractor purchased this unit for our vacation home to fit into a remodeled laundry area. The unit was installed in January and used for the first time in April. In August it stopped working (would not complete the spin cycle). It was repaired the third week in September. After exactly 4 loads of laundry, it's broken again. Different issue, but still, it doesn't work. I expected far better workmanship from GE than has been exhibited in this machine. I have several other GE appliances and this is the first that has been a problem. If it doesn't work for even one year without worry, I expect this unit is a lemon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I want a refund

We originally purchased this washer/dryer in Aug 2015 and had 5 services on the first one within 1 year. The dryer snags clothing and leaves black streaks on clothing items. We received a new unit about 1 month ago and I am having the same problems. I will be requesting a refund. Obviously there is an engineering issue.
