We've owned this product for a few weeks so far. It functions well, and I love that I can adjust the size of the load. We have a very limited space where our washer/dryer fits and this product was the best solution for us.

QUIET, HIGH TECH, POWERFUL!

Our stack washer/dryer unit of another manufacture failed horribly WE the 13th April. I called a maintenance engineer relative who works at a destination hotel here on Maui and supervises the department. He services every machine of any type in the hotel. He recommended GE because of low repair records in their laundry department as well as units installed in "cottages" on their property.
I was able to locate the unit we purchased, on island, and at a reasonable price, the very next day and it was delivered and setup the following Saturday. It is so quiet, simple to use and the instructions are well written and easy to understand. I have had several stack units in the near 25 years in our condo, this one has made the best impression from the get-go!
I would recommend this to a friend!

GE hit a home run with this unit. It is simple to operate, the washer is relatively quiet and the dryer is very quiet.

Purchased almost one month ago. Replaced a nother brand product that was about ten year old. Very pleased with the GE product. Good features and easy to use controls. Good product.

Not a good Unit - Loud and Bad Experience

Bought my new Washer/Dryer 2 weeks ago and the dryer stopped working after a week of use. Called and they scheduled repair man 4 days later. He fixed it and it worked for 2 days, only to stop working again. Aggravated to the point I called them again and told them I wanted a replacement. So they scheduled a replacement to be delivered. I haven't had any issues thus far.
The unit is louder than my older unit from the 2000s and sounds like the wheel-spinning noise in wheel of fortune only amplified by increasing speeds.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
