I bought this stacked unit because of space issues. I had an identical unit that was 12 years old that I really enjoyed. I should have read the reviews prior to purchase. It makes grinding noises when washing and sounds like a helicopter taking off when it spins. I had a technician out within 2 weeks because I figured something must be wrong. Not! Terrible design! I'm sure the new design saved GE money but I must say I'm very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the GE laundry center 3 months ago. So far i have had no issues with either the washer or dryer. The washer makes an odd sound in the washing cyle but the clothers come out clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replaced a similar but older version. This is bigger and works great. Clothes left in dryer overnight barely wrinkled the next day. Only thing I'd add is a buzzer when finished.

Love the stackable convenience. Saves alot of space. Washes and dries great. My rinse only option is not currently working, but as soon as they fix that It will be 100%.
