I needed a stack unit, it is ok, to me, nothing outstanding. Makes a lot of noises in the washer between cycles, I am not sure if it is supposed to be making them or not, I wonder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice design and seems nice, but the lights are blinking. Will let you know when I find out what is wrong with it and it is running without flashing

Seems good but loud noises during wash cycle

The laundry center seems to be functioning well, but it does make loud noises when agitating. I'm not sure if this is normal...? I also wish it would buzz at the end of a wash cycle and at the end of a drying cycle.

Takes way longer to dry clothes than expected. The sensor function doesn't work well as I almost always have to run through a second dry cycle. Also, items get stuck between dryer drum and frame.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fixed Better Than New

My washer bit the dust right before my warranty expired. I had the good fortune of getting an excellent GE Service Tech who knew what he was doing. Now my washer runs better than when I first purchased it. If you purchase any appliance these days it's best to buy an extended warranty on it, especially if you spend a lot. GE has great appliances, however you have to understand that no appliance made these days is made like they were years ago. But finding a really good service individual is hard to come by. I was extremely fortunate. I am still happy to have this washer/dryer combo and understanding the working parts. I would recommend the product. Just get that extended warranty when making large purchases and understand nothing made today is made to last. I'm still very happy with my purchase

EXPENSIVE. IF YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO GET A SIDE BY SIDE DO IT. IF YOU DONT HAVE THE SPACE, BE AWARE WHEN THE WASHER BREAKS THE WHOLE THING BREAKS. HOPEFULLY THIS ONE LASTS LONGER THAN THE LAST.
