Barely fit space

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, so I don't have a long history with it. I love, however, having my own washer/dryer in my apt. For years I had to use community laundry and hated it. So far so good. The water level, I will say, is low.

Dryer works well- washer is hard to understand
on April 24, 2017

I bought this 5 days ago. The washing machine seems to go through about 10 starts and stops during the rinse/spin cycles. Short bursts of sound like rinsing followed by a short sound of the machine trying to spin, then repeat again and again. This happens when the rinse light is on. Afterwards the spin light comes on and the machine starts/stops its spin cycle a few times before finally spinning to the end of the wash. Is all of this starting and stopping and shorts rinse/spin cycles normal or do I need to reset something or have another service guy out. Thanks

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to write your review on your spacemaker washer and dryer and thank you for your question.
The washer will start and stop during the rinse and spin cycles. If you do not select the Fabric Softener option, the Rinse cycle is a series of spray rinses. With each spray burst, the wash basket will turn to make sure the clothes get spray coverage. Once past the Rinse cycle, the spin will stop and start while it is “load sensing” so that it can determine spin speed. The multiple pauses you are experiencing sound like normal operation.
We hope you find our information helpful. Thank you, again, for your feedback. We appreciate your business.

Stacked washer and dryer

After having an issue corrected (Drain hose was installed to far down the pipe and was not secured, which caused the water to siphon out on the extra large cycle during filling), I love it! It does run quieter than a unit that I rented. When it changes cycles it can make loud clicking sounds, but it lasts only seconds. I love the large size of the machine. I can wash fewer loads. The dryer dries fine and besides hearing the snaps and zippers getting banged around, its quiet. The only thing I didn't like was that 1 load take over 25 min to wash and its not advertised as a HE machine. I've had it 2 months so far and hope all goes well. If it doesn't, then it'll be Geek Squad to the rescue.

Works Well

This stackable washer dryer was brand new in our apartment. The washer works well, but I wish there was an option for a shorter length wash cycle- they all seem to be about the same time frame. And be aware that the washer is very noisy! The dryer also works well, but I wish it would buzz or somehow alert that the dryer is finished. Be aware that if you don't use the timed cycle- it runs until you stop it! Perhaps I am too involved in my next task, or just need that reminder to get the clothes out of the dryer.

like the sound as I can tell where the washer is in its cycle. Clothes get completely washed.
