I have only done about 4 loads in this unit - it is larger capacity that I thought and that is good. It is noisier than the unit this is replacing but I can close the laundry room door. I do wish it had signals that let you know when the load has ended - but I see that this model is not being made anymore. I bought it because the cycle function area is eye level for me ( I am short). I have some trouble getting all the clothes out of the dryer but will live with that or get a small footstool.
Since I have only had it 3 days I gave it a 4 star rating - it looks like it will be a good purchase.

I love the fact that it is quiet, but the disappointment is that it has torn a few pieces of clothing. I used it two times and I am hoping that GE would replace it with same. There must be a sharp edge somewhere. We’ll see.

I acquired it in the home purchase. I should have had it professionally inspected as it has been a problem with load banging during spin cycle after the first use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
