I've always had a laundry center but this one seems to have a bigger tub. Really enjoy it so far.

Dryer and washer broke in 4 years w/light use

This unit is 4 years old. There was an issue with the dryer causing “pulls” of threads in towels when new. GE did repair it with no consideration to all the clothes ruined.
The repair person pushed to sell a warranty, which I didn’t think I needed, and now the washer broken. It is making loud squeaking sounds in wash cycle.
The unit was only used once or twice a month.
Expected quality from GE, sadly, not there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Compact so respect the size

This is a great combo for a small apartment or condo, like ours. Capacity is good but you must respect the size. Tried to wash a queen comforter last night and the coating from the pod was still all over it, so not enough movement to fully dissolve it. Other smaller items come clean as long as you don’t overload. Dryer is strong and quiet, and like the convenient lint catcher design. Overall nice compact unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!
