I bought GE hoping for NO Head Aches.

I installed this less than a month ago and there was an immediate leak.
I see that GE Appliances is a Haier Company. That makes me concerned about the quality. They are using GE name but I am afraid this product may not be GE quality that I was expecting.

Defective, does not last

Defective, poorly made unit. Purchased 3 years ago. Water started appearing in the washer tray which I learned was due to a defective tub seal and bearing, a very involved repair which is not worth fixing. A complete lemon, don't waste your money. A washer should definitely last more than 3 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broke After 3 Months

So very frustrated and disappointed that I bought this 3 months ago and the dryer broke. Some part from inside the appliance broke off and wrapped around the clothes. Thankfully nothing happened to the clothes but this should not have happened after 3 months or let alone ever. I expect more from a GE appliance.

Very handy

Very handy in bathroom but does not extract water as well as my other GE washer downstairs. Now it has quit spinning totally and I need a repair person!

Nice machine

This is a good machine, overall, but the occasional loud noises are a bit concerning. It occasionally makes a loud knocking sound during the spin cycle. Aside from the occasional loud noise (of short duration) it washes and dries clothes well. I'm happy with it.

Average is not a bad review. There is nothing stellar or amazing about this washer and dryer set. It isn't "Wow", but it is reliable, study and does its job. It is what it says it is. A good midsize washer and dryer set that is easy to use, simple and cleans and drys your clothes. Enough said. If your looking for a normal washer and dryer set that is convenient and easy to use, here it is
