I replaced a similiar machine that was only 3 years old and completely broke down. GE discontinued that model so I am supposed to get a check from the insurance to cover the adjusted value of the old machine. I replaced it with the new model and so far I have been pleased. I do not like the new water saver features of the new washers and wish they still would fill up the way they used to. The dryer part works very well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very happy to be able to wash both top and bottom king size sheets at same time, which I could not do in my former machine. A plus would be to have an alert buzzer when wash is completed.

The washer makes a lot of loud clicks while running. It does fit in my small closet which was why I bought this model.

I think I have now used this product long enough to rate it. I am quite please with it. I can wash two sheets and pillow cases with a few other pieces, lightweight towels, wash cloths, etc. and it works fine. The only improvement I would like is that the water level could be manually adjusted. I like that is does have the option of two rinse cycles. I am responding with this review because I searched many reviews for combination set before deciding on this one and know it will be helpful to prospective buyers.
