Perfect for Small Apt/Condo

I’ve run about 20 loads of laundry through this so far. I have almost no space for laundry, so having this space-saver available is a great help. If you’re used to a full size washer/dryer you’ll have to adjust the load size you’re accustomed too, otherwise works as advertised.

I bought this appliance in November 2017, it was installed today. My old machine broke up, and started to leak in the floor, and in walls.When I purchased this model, sales clerk instructed me to buy DRIP PAN for this machine. I read later on other reviews that a spacemaker machine leaks. And there is a regulation to buy DRIP PANS for stucked models.The machine looks good, it fits in my Laundry room,space, which 24 X 24. Just right.I did not make photo of my model but I will do it and post it.I did my first laundry an drying. The cloth smells well. I am very glad that I got this model I only wish that GE would make metallic design or bright Red. I attach a space of my laundry room, where I was able to fit my GE machine.

Bigger capacity and efficient washing

We recently bought this washer and dryer combination and are totally satisfied with its performance. It has a larger capacity than our old system and is efficient in the washing and drying of clothes.

Poor washing, dryer pops open

Looks good works poorly . Dryer door pops open, washer doesn't use enough water to properly clean clothes

Thanks for your review! The washer features Auto-Load Sensing. This design allows the washer to automatically measure the load size and add just the right amount of water based on the load size. Loosely load clothes no higher than the top row of holes in the washer basket. See pages 5 and 7 of the Owner's Manual: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90532.pdf - Also, GE Appliances recommends HE (High Efficiency) detergent be used in all of our washers (past and present models) for optimum wash performance. HE detergent works best with the lower water levels used in all modern washing machines and cleans just as well as standard detergents regardless of the machine type or age.
