Not great

This washer is tiny and has had many issues over the last 8 months I have used it. The washer drum has the fabric softener/agitator in the center, and I have had many pieces of clothing get stuck wrapped around the bottom of the agitator. There’s no easy way to retrieve anything that gets twisted around the agitator except for awkwardly leaning and yanking for your life while trying not to bang your head on the dryer above. My short arms struggle with this. The washer always seems to leave clumps of lint on my clothes like I’ve never experienced with other washers before. The dryer runs for longer than is necessary even when set to “Optimum” and the lack of temperature control for the dryer is frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The worst machine I’ve ever had

I’ve had four of these machines. The dryer handle never stays on more than a month and I’m having to replace another one again after only about 3 years.

Just purchased my new washer and dryer at a fabulous price. It is so space/energy saving and cleans and dries my clothes in no time. It is very quiet running also.

4 years later is leaking and bearings are bad

4 years later is started to leak. Repair man said that this is known issue for bearings and it will cost $500 to repair. Basically whole machine has to be taken apart to get to the bearing. Very disappointed of this product. No more GE products. Done!!!

I just bought the washer/dryer but I am thrilled to have a new one. My old one was a GE and it last for years and years. Hoping to get years and years use out of this one!! I'm just thrilled with it!!

Cheap and ugly

Our cheap landlord bought us this and it barely fits in the laundry closet. Also, it's not remotely eco-friendly and the top toading with having to throw the detergent into the tub before putting in the clothes seems really 1950s. Overall, I have nothing good to say about this machine- I guess it gets the job done but it's not special or contemporary.
