Not the best but does the job

I didn't have many options for a washer/dryer that would fit in my condo's laundry closet. This was the best rated of the options. It is surprisingly noisy during parts of its cycle. Makes loud thumping noises. Fortunately the installers warned me that this is normal. After the first few loads of shirts, I found a few t-shirts with small holes in them. I found that the agitator (made of plastic) has sharp edges; probably left after the molding process. I suspected these were causing the holes. I sanded them down and haven't noticed any more holes. It seems to clean my laundry well enough although I think it's a bit hard on it.
The dryer doesn't have an explicit temperature control. The manual seems to indicate that the dry adjust the temperature based on the clothing type setting; but not really sure. I find it annoying that I can't explicitly set the drying temperature. I also get a surprising amount of lint after drying. I don't know if that do to the washer being a bit rough on the clothes or the drier drying hotter than I normally do. I had a front loading washer and dryer before this new house which was very gentle on the laundry and rarely produced the volume of lint. Maybe this one just traps it better. Don't know.
Wish there were better options of washer/driers in this size. The Bosch ones are very nice but I didn't have 220/30amp circuit so had to resort to this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

would have been a better experience if store purchased from would also do installations. that is the most frustrating part of all. then was only give less than 24 hours notice of delivery. that's hard to coordinate a plumber with such short notice.
