I started driving for a ride sharing service and needed to have a phone mount rather than just dealing without one on my own. I found this one in the store and while I was slightly hesitant to have a window-mounted phone mount, the other options would not have worked for my car. I gave this mount a shot, and I loved it as soon and I got it mounted in my car! How I have it positioned, it has minimal impact on my sight while driving and the adjustable arm is exactly what I want in a mount and allows for super-customizable positioning of your phone.

The windshield phone holder is okay. The suction cup mount holds very wel. The flexible positioning arm works very well and holds the phone at the desired location even with a large/heavy phone (Note 4). My issue is the portion holding the phone holds the phone but the ratcheting device which opens the arms of the device does not engage regularly and takes a certain amount of patience an repeated attempts to release the phone.

My Samsung Galaxy S7 may be a bit to heavy. It starts to shake too much while in the vertical position, shakes in horizontal position as well. The holder pops off the mount too easily.

I haven't had any issues as of yet. It sticks really well to my windshield, no problems. I have a larger phone (LG V10) and it holds it just fine. You can put it into just about any shape you need, and the clamping part holds the phone great, it also has the 2 little pull out pieces at the bottom if you need them to hold it even more securely. I'm glad I bought it.
