This device does what it was made to do. However, I found that the concept of it's shape made it somewhat difficult to use in some of the slanted windshields of modern cars. It was easy to mount if you didn't use too much liquid to make it adhere to the surface. It held on to the phone quite well and making it adjust to the phone I had was quite simple. I did give this away because it was difficult to find the right place to put it in my car. I have a 2013 Honda. I brought instead one that attaches to my air vent that was much more satisfying for me.

I had purchased another phone holder from Best Buy that was about $10-$12 less expensive. It was flimsy and couldn't hold my iPhone 6plus up. This holder was easy to install (fairly easy to move and bend into a shape to fit your window & dash configuration.) My only negative comment is that sometimes when I go to grab the phone from the holder, if it shifts one way or another it can slip off of the base/arm connection. That's a little frustrating but overall I'm satisfied with this product.

I almost returned this product: it doesn't stick to anything but the window. I was hoping to attach it to the dash or base console, but it wouldn't hold. The neck is very stiff--in fact I didn't even think it was adjustable. It does hold a variety of phone sizes, though you have to watch where you clamp it so the pressure doesn't turn the phone off by the side button if you have one.

I purchased this without seeing any reviews and all I can say is WOW! This stays put on the windshield and the phone grip does not move and is padded to protect the phone so you can crank it pretty tight. The phone will not move. The arm is so stiff that at first I wasn't sure it was supposed to move, but it bends however you want it to and stays put. Has a good amount of reach as well. I highly recommend this phone mount.
Fits the Samsung Note and the iPhone 6 Plus with room to spare!
