Junk, clamping system broken quickly

Has a ratchating mechanism that you squeeze to tighten the clamps onto the phone. The mechanism freezes and needs to be wiggled to try to get it to tighten. Makes it almost unusable. I would not recommend.

good for hanging on windshield

perfect for hanging on automobile windshield. So far the suction has stayed on and not fallen from the window. I place a LG Stylo with a phone case witch makes the phone pretty heavy. The button to release the phone is a little tricky because you have to press it all the way in order to engage the release. I like that you can tilt the phone with ease, The suction has a lever that lets you move the mount in seconds with no hassle.

Won't Last Forever, But Works Great

I've owned probably half a dozen of these mounts over the years. Sitting in the Florida sun for long periods (a couple years) eventually makes the plastic brittle and they start to crack and not work so well. But for the price, I still feel like I get GREAT value out of them with them lasting a couple years. That's why I keep buying them. I especially love how easily they can be positioned to fit any car. I take them on the road with me when I travel for work, and am yet to find a rental car that I can't put this in in a great position.

Hold phone well

I use phone as GPS a lot, this is a solid mount, does not drop phone on bumpy roads.
mine is 6+ months old and doesn't release the "lock" very well when done using it, so hold phone too well.
Not a bad purchase for the money.
