this gps holder is very difficult to adjust and mount to the dashboard. once it is mounted, it does not stay mounted. the holder makes my my phone shake to the point where i cant even read what my gps is telling me

Doesn't stick well

Compared to my old one that I had used with my moto x years ago(for a lot cheaper), the suction cup is not concaved enough in the starting position, thus leading to a final poor vacuum on the windshield not powerful enough for the rigidity of the unit. Regardless of all my tricks I use with suction cups(clean surface and somewhat thick viscose liquid aka saliva ;) ) it would take forever to get it in the right position to hold(god forbid you touched it). However the bendable arm is strong, as is the padded compression unit to hold the phone. So I modified it with a tripod and use it for hands free video hangouts. Would've been 5 stars if the suction was more powerful.

I've owned this for almost a year now. It's still usable but the suction cup doesn't work as well as it used to. The ratcheting mechanism doesn't always work. and the holder falls off of mount when adjusting. And it is way overpriced.
