Went on a trip up the I5 to Oregon, and back, had it connected through out. I was able to listen to songs from my phone as well as stream music from Pendora. I'm able to use it successfully even in Los Angeles. I love it! Sounds is pretty decent, with very little static.
What's great about it: Works just as advertised.
What's not so great: My Iphone gets really hot while it's connected to it

this product works great in our older model honda, it also charges the ipod. we live in an area that doesn't have a lot of radio stations so it is perfect because we get to listen to what you want
What's great about it: very easy to use, might work for us better here because not a lot of radio stations to interfere with

If the thing actually did what it says it does and found a clear channel, using the entire FM band, it would be very easy to use. But it seems to restrict itself to only channels at the low end of the FM band and rarely finds a really clear channel.
What's great about it: charges iPhone while playing
What's not so great: can't seem to find a clear channel very well

Griffin is usually reliable manufacturer. This is VERY overpriced. Station seek is ok but station selected often has lots of intereference and isn't really a clear channel. Auto socket adaptor lights up when connected which is nice so you can tell connection is working. Iphone connection fell apart within 2 weeks. Response I got from Griffin was "you probably handled it too roughly". For the price and the performance I wouldn't buy it again. It may work better in an area with more empty air space. Tape up the iPhone connector before it has a chance to fall apart. Signal quality also very dependent on positioning of phone. All in all not a great experience
What's great about it: easy to use and set up. plug in and go
What's not so great: iphone connection fell apart within 2 weeks, lots of interference on stations

My objective with this device was to listen to the TVs that are located at the health club (LIfeTime Fitness) while I workout. The device works great at the Burr Ridge club but am having less success (static) at the Schaumburg club. Overall I am satisfied with the device.
What's great about it: Able to listen to TV frequency at Health Club
What's not so great: Depending on location static can be a problem

I have an otterbox on my iphone and the plug doesn't fit through the bottom without having to force it in there. The reception is at best terrible. I am going to take this back to Best Buy tomorrow and try a different method of connecting to my vehicle. My best suggestion for anyone in a larger city with many stations, find an alternative to hooking up your ipod/phone through your car stereo. I think that the carrier signal coming out of this unit is way too weak to properly be picked up by a cars antenna. Additionally, I would like to know where the transmitter is located on the unit. I thought that it was in the in-line selector, but after fumbling around with it for a while, I think it may actually be in the plug that attaches to the phone. I found this out by placing my phone up on top of the visor and the signal getting a little clearer. I am not sure why the company would put it there, doesn't seem like a very well planned out piece.
What's great about it: The idea.
What's not so great: The plug is fatter than the one for my iphone so it doesn't fit right through my case, very, very poor reception.
