Its Tekken. Always a great game. I love this Tekken but have a major issue with the story mode. Does'nt compare to the core gameplay at all. Seems very odd they chose to add this feature. The best way I can describe it is think of the old version of Street Fighter with better graphics. Putting that aside... the actual reason why you bought this game is still alive and kicking. The fights are well crafted and with the polished graphics and sound its in its glory day. The online works well and is also fun. If you want something different you will be let down with story mode. If you want the same old feeling that Tekken deliver but with next gen graphics then you will have that. Enjoy.
What's great about it: Graphics, Fighters, Same Great Controls, Sound, Arena Design
What's not so great: Story mode is odd and cheap feeling.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This game is excellent because it brings all the male members in my household family quality time with each other.
What's great about it: It creates family bonding time, that the entire family wants to play.
I would recommend this to a friend!

1st son
this game is the same as the others the moves is limited the character are the same but they added more, the characters move havent change. i say this is a good campaign game but there is things that could be improved as in combos and online cheezers.
2nd son
THE game is fun ill beat anyone with lars aka lars is the best so pick him, online is full of cheaters.
What's great about it: graphics and game play
What's not so great: online play

One of the best fighters ever!

Tekken is by far my favorite fighting game series of all time, and Tekken 6 really takes the cake.
All the big favorites are there, such as Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix, Nina Williams, and of course the Mishima family. There are also some interesting new characters as well. For example, you have Lars Andersson, who's fighting style is very punch-oriented yet very powerful. For the unconventional, there is Zafina, who utilizing an extremely awkward fighting style that's supposed to be pretty ancient. For the comedically inclined, there is Bob, a karate master who tries to win the tournament with an obese physique. Finally, there is Azazel, the final boss. He is a cross between Ogre from Tekken 3 and the Egyptian god Anubis. In total, there are 42 characters in this game!
The gameplay is still in its classic form but with a few changes. First of all, there is a Rage system that kicks in when you or your opponent is low on health. The health bar starts to flicker red, and that character can then cause extra damage. Also, when a character is knocked to the ground he or she cannot tech roll. This is obviously bad for the person getting knocked down but good for those who can do long chains of combos. Thirdly, there are several stages where one can knock a character onto another tier or through a wall.
Obviously, this game has not been released as of today, 2/2/09. However, I am really looking forward to when it comes out. This installment has obviously been modified yet it still retains the attitude and complexity of the series itself.

It has all the graphics, music, punches, kicks, combo- air juggles, blocks, counter, side steps, etc. There's no other fighting game like this one! Unique, strategic, challenging, and it takes dicipline to learn the chain of commands. Once you learn the commands the fun begins! Let the Iron Fist Tournament be with you!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been playing Tekken since the very first, i been hooked since. It took some time to get this great, but since Tekken 3 no other fighter game can conpare.
What's great about it: No other fighting game is put together this well
What's not so great: Nothing ever thing is great

When playing online the cotrols feel very sticky. Lag is terrible. I hope they have a fix for this and the loadup times.
What's great about it: Graphics, Characters, Game play,
What's not so great: Beware of loadup time and online lag. I hate the online Lag controls feel sticky

In my opinion it doesn't deserve to pay that much amount of money in this game. I'm not that kind who likes to play online, for me i just play with friends.
What's great about it: good when you play with another player
What's not so great: expensive and boring when play alone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
