This game is just like smash bros melee in playing style, but with some added twists. Some characters were removed and some were added, along with new weapons and skills. Along with improved graphics, there is a new single player mode that takes you through a storyline, and was much needed to make this game great. It's a way to learn to play and become better with more than one character and find the one that you truly enjoy playing.

Experienced SSB players: Adventure mode is a lot more fun, new characters. Cool items. You can play on better stages, melee stages, or even make your own.
New SSB (super smash bros) players: Nintendo all-stars join together to fight to the finish. (No blood!) You can unlock characters. Or play an adventure mode!
Ethier way,... it worth your money!
Hope you found this helpful! -nintendofan23
What's great about it: Lots more characters! Newer everthing!
What's not so great: some old characters/items gone

best one yet i mean theres the one on N64 , Game cube and now Wii.You could'nt hope for anything better then this.Nintendo gave u all the loved classic characters well managing to mix in the greatest of new ones. some new Items where added to make anyone win. first there is the Brawl witch gives your character his/her special power.
Now with always up ready to play online mode play with friends family and complete strangers..... have up to four people in one match.there is no lag on online play making it very good. You can use and master 4 styles of playing sideways remote, Game cube controller ( same controls as melee ) , and Wii Classic controller .
New storie modes with great game play. takes days to beat but you will never get bored. You can now more easily understand game modes when u first begin.Good for all ages except toddlers.Cant get much better then this. Graphics improved greatly since melee making for nicer game play.Anyone who likes fighting games will love this well still adding a bit of adventure in storie
What's great about it: all new stages, characters , outfits , game styles, and 3 ways to play

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is easily going to go down as one of the best (and best selling) Wii games in history, just as SSB did with the N64 and GameCube. The sheer idea of battling it out with your favorite Nintendo characters is a draw itself, but now with the inclusion of third party greats like Snake and Sonic, the game got even better.
Using backdrops from Nintendo's vast library of catalog titles (such as the original Mario Bros. arcade game, Aminal Crossing, etc) and classic characters like ROB the Robot and Ice Climbers, SSBB is a game with replay value like no other. The Wii controls take some getting used to, but you can use the Classic Controller for the more old school feel.
The only drawback would be the online component. Thanks to Nintendo's tight lock on online playablity (to protect children), there is no voice chat or anyway to communicate with people you fight against online... part of the fun of fighting with friends is the trash talk! But its only a small complaint because overall, the game was well worth the multiple delays. Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be played for years to come.
What's great about it: Incredibly High Replay Value

This is a fantastic game if you like hanging out with friends. Is a great mult-player game that can keep you busy for hours. At times I'm not sure if I'm playing a gamecube or Wii (Gamecube controller is actually compatible to play the Wii's version and graphics could be better) but was definitley worth my money.
What's great about it: Action around every turn
What's not so great: Eerily similar to Gamecubes version

I'm a huge Nintendo fan but I got to say that this game came in a little flat. It's a lot of fun if you play with a group of friends but not so much when playing alone. The adventure mode, is sooo long that after a while you just get bored with the entire idea of it. Other than that, the game is pretty good. I guess I just thought it'd be better, that's all.
What's great about it: Graphics, some characters, and the extras added on.
What's not so great: Some characters, some new stages, the new moves, and the new adventure mode.
