Excellent design frig.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd give it 5 stars if not for the indirect issue of a fitting for the water line leaking. It's on the back so slightly external to the frig; but is part of the unit. Had to cut and splice it with a male/female brass fitting. Otherwise fine and really like the door-in-door design. Early units had compressor problems, but I believe that's resolved. And most important, it fits in the limited space whereas 'some' others don't allow their ice containers to be removed easily if the freezer-side door hits a wall. That was the deciding factor for the LG. .. all my new appliances are LG and only the frig water line has been an issue.

My wife and I are Very Pleased with this Refrigerator Great features that we use everyday. We only had one problem in the 9 year’s the compressor stopped working a few months ago and it was replaced within 3 day’s covered under warranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 8 years ago and am on a third compressor. I will never buy another LG refrigerator again. The only reason i still have it in my home is that i couldn't find a replacement fridge of the same size in the scant time i had after being stranded by it dying on me. I had to call a repair man to avoid losing all of my food I couldn't afford to replace.

Should have cut my loss on 2nd compressor

bought this refrigerator in 2015. It had compressor problems in 2019 and lost all the food. Then had another compressor problem in 2021. Now looking at another compressor problem in 2025. Each time costing money for food and labor. horribly disappointed
