I love the door-in-the door feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The configuration of the interior is convenient for storage. The exterior finish is just a little disappointing for me. too much effort to keep it streak free. Also, the design of the water dispenser outlet is too close to the click plate for me but it's not a deal breaker for me. I think it is an improvement that needs attention. LG is a dependable and reliable product. It just needs a few tweaks for perfection.
Pros: Style/Design, Performance, Quality, easy to use

Cooling System Broken

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Temperature in freezer won't go below 35 degrees. It has been like this since the power went out for about an hour during a storm last week. It is barely 3 years old. Smartdiagnosis app can't figure out the problem and LG phone rep suggestions haven't fixed it. I'm afraid it's the compressor. I really loved this fridge until now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Reliable and Convenient Refrigerator After 7 Years
on October 7, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the LG 24 CU. FT. Door-in-Door® Refrigerator (Model: LFXS24663S) for over 7 years now, since I purchased it on February 28, 2017. After all this time, it’s still working efficiently, and I wanted to share my long-term experience.
Pros:
Durability: This fridge has held up really well over the years. We haven’t experienced any major issues, which is impressive for a daily-use appliance after 7 years. Convenient Door-in-Door Feature: The Door-in-Door design is a standout feature! We love how easy it is to grab frequently used items like milk, snacks, or beverages without opening the entire fridge. This has been great for energy savings and convenience. Spacious: The 24 CU. FT. capacity is more than enough for our family. It fits large items easily, and the shelves are adjustable to fit taller items when needed. Energy Efficiency: Even after 7 years, this fridge seems to be energy-efficient, as our electric bills haven't spiked since purchasing it. Easy Maintenance: The stainless steel exterior is sleek and easy to clean. The interior is also designed in a way that makes it simple to wipe down and keep organized. Cons:
Ice Maker: One downside is that the ice maker's capacity could be better. While it functions well, it doesn’t produce ice as quickly as we would like, especially for larger gatherings. Water Filter Replacement: The water filter works well, but it’s a bit pricey to replace, and it requires replacement fairly frequently to keep the water quality high. Wi-Fi Connectivity: Although it comes with SmartThinQ® app connectivity, we found that we didn't use it much. It’s a nice feature for those who enjoy smart home integration, but it wasn’t necessary for our use. Overall: After over 7 years of use, we are still very happy with this refrigerator. It’s spacious, reliable, and the Door-in-Door feature is something I can’t imagine living without now. The ice maker could be faster, but overall, this fridge is a great long-term investment. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, family-sized fridge!

Love the door in door feature

I haven't found anything about this frig that I don't like yet. The drawers are positioned well & work smoothly. Because I often just need the milk or dressing for salads the door in door is fantastic - no need to open the frig completely. I have the stainless finish and it is great. - cleans well unlike others that I have seen that just never seem to have a nice finish.

Ice production is too slow!

We are disapointed with the in door ice supply, even with the ICE PLUS activated it does not meet our usage for only two of us. We drink a lot of ice water so now we have to use ice trays or buy bagged ice. Every thing else about the refrigerator we a pleased with. Our last refrigerator was a side by side that made a lot of ice but the freezer was to narrow.

Love the door in door feature!

This is a beautiful looking refrigerator. I love the door in door feature however I wish there were more room on the door for condiments. Also, I have to be careful in shutting the left door as it slams. It's probably from the weight of the ice maker. The water dispenser is a bit difficult to access as there is not much space between the spigot and the button. I love the LED lighting and space inside.
Pros: easy to use, Style/Design

Required a 33 inch wide due to a wall on one side. This size works perfect allowing to open both doors wide open. It is quite, can hear a hum sometimes. Love the door n door. Cleans easy.

Very nice refridgerator. The only one I could find that was French Door and only 33" wide as my wall cabinet above is only 33 inch wide. I did extend my wall cabinet end panel 1 extra inch just so I would not have a hard time moving the fridge in and out for yearly cleaning. Beware of damage to the LOWER SKIRT underneath the fridge Part# 5070JJ3004D. I had two units delivered and both were damaged in the process of uncrating. It's almost impossible to get the fridge off the pallet without damaging the LOWER SKIRT. It's about 15" long made of plastic and vinyl. I think it segreates air flow underneath the bottom louvers between intake air to condenser and exhaust air flow from condenser?? Have not had any issues with the ice maker yet. Nice small cubes that everyone seems to like and no jambs.
