This feature is great. The ice size also a plus and was not known till we started using the ice. I rate the unit Good only as I have not had it for very long.

The door in a door has been a big hit with the family. The freezer is large as well, and the pullout drawers make items easily accessible.

Also would like to have all buttons illuminated so at night you can see the buttons to get water and ice. Other. Then that, we have been very pleased with looks and function.

Short life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right now, I am in the kitchen with what’s left of the salvageable food from my freezer, in ice chests on the floor. The compressor only lasted 4 years. I will NOT buy any LG Fridge again!! I hear there is a class action suit against LG for this very compressor, but yet they still manufacture them. Sad.
