We got 2 years before it broke

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2 years to the day the motor just stopped while we were away for the weekend. Got back to a room-temperature freezer and fridge - total mess. While waiting 4 more days for a repair, it suddenly started working again. So when repair person came, they said they could do nothing. Told us 1) replacing the compressor can cause more problems, as it is like a “heart transplant” and the refrigerator would never really be the same, and 2) just wait until it happened again. So, two great options - thanks, LG!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my fridge up and running for a couple of weeks now and am really enjoying it. We had a rough start, though. There was a zip tie keeping our compressor fan from turning properly so for the 1st week the fridge only half worked. Once the service guy made it out to see what the issue was, the fridge has been running fantastic. I love the slim ice maker that doesnt take up precious space. I did think I would have more items that would fit in the smaller door racks, but I've made it work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the Fringe from Home Depot. We had them install it. The installer did a terrible job. He failed to properly level it which we learned causes it to make a loud humming noise. The ice maker stopped working. We called and customer service who walked us through resetting it. They wouldn’t send someone to fix the leveling problem as the said it was the sellers fault. They did email instructions for me to DIY.

The refrigerator exhibits quality construction of a carefully thought out design. There is no massive ice maker taking up space in the refrigerator compartment as the ice maker is in the door. And the water filter is easy to remove and replace. The drawers are easily opened by grabbing them from above, fingers down. The refrigerator is well lit and everything is readily visible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this for two weeks and so far I couldn,t be more pleased. Mine is staniless, finger print resistant . I love how roomy it is and how quiet it runs. Even the ice maker is quiet. Love the ice maker in the door, makes for more room in the refrigerator. The platter tray is very nice also the vegetable and fruit bins are roomy. The freezer has plenty of room, I don't have to pass up good sales. Delivery men were great also and explained some things to me after set up. Right now I an very happy with my purchase.
